BE@RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT No.10 Circle 10 Corso Como

2021年9月に30周年を迎える世界を代表するミラノのコンセプトショップ10 Corso Comoとのコラボレーション。2018年9月6日にNew Yorkのオープン記念として作られたBE＠RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT No.10、2019年New York 1st anniversaryモデルの“No.10 Heart” に続き、本作“No.10 Circle” は10 Corso Comoシリーズとしては３作目、ミラノ本店としては初のBE＠RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENTとなります。

30周年モデルの“No.10 Circle” は、ブラックの頭にクリス・ルス（Kris Ruhs）のアートをボディに刻んだ重厚感のあるデザイン。香りは前作同様10 Corso Comoオリジナルの香りを小瓶に詰めました。石膏製のBE＠RBRICKと、そのオブジェにオイルを垂らしアロマの香りで、ミラノの10 Corso Comoを楽しむことができます。

Our new line is a collaboration with 10 Corso Como, the globally recognized concept store from Milan, celebrating its 30th anniversary in September 2021. No. 10 Circle is the third collaboration with 10 Corso Como, following past collaborations such as BE＠RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT No.10, created for the opening of the New York store on September 6th in 2018, and No.10 Heart, made for the first anniversary of the New York store in 2019. This will also be the first time a BE＠RBRICK AROMA ORNAMENT makes its appearance in the main store in Milan.

We opted for a dignified design for the No. 10 Circle, the 30th anniversary model, with a head colored black and artwork by Kris Ruhs engraved on the body. As for the scent, we chose a 10 Corso Como original sealed in a small bottle, like the previous model. You can enjoy the atmosphere of 10 Corso Como in Milan through the scent of the essential oil dripped onto the plaster BE＠RBRICK.

世界中のデザイナーやバイヤー、モデル、ファッショニスタたちがミラノを訪れた際には必ず立ち寄る大人気の最先端セレクトショップ。1990年9月、イタリア版ヴォーグの別冊編集長として活躍していたカルラ・ソッツァーニ（Carla Sozzani）がミラノのコモ通り10番地にギャラリー「ガレリア・カルラ・ソッツァーニ」を創設、翌'91年にセレクトショップ「ディエチ・コルソコモ」としてオープン。ブックショップ、カフェ＆レストラン、デザインショップ、ブティックホテルなどを同敷地内に次々とオープン。オープン当初よりグラフィックアートを手がけているのはクリス・ルス（Kris Ruhs）。コンセプトショップという言葉がなかった時代に「ファッション、グルメ、アート全般にわたるライフスタイルを提唱する空間」というアイディアを実現したカルラはファッション界に新しいクリエイティビティを提唱したコンセプトショップの先駆者。10 Corso Comoのようなコンセプトストアが世界的に次々と増え、今でも世界のファッション業界に影響を与えている。

10 Corso Como is an extremely popular and cutting-edge specialty store that designers, buyers, models, and fashionistas from across the world visit when they are in Milan. In September 1990, Carla Sozzani, editor in chief of the supplemental volumes of the Italian VOGUE at the time, opened the gallery “Galleria Carla Sozzani” at 10 Como Street in Mian. The following year, the gallery was renewed as “Dieci Corso Como” and the gallery expanded by opening bookshops, cafés, restaurants, designs shops, and boutique hotels in the vicinity. Kris Ruhs has been working as their graphic artist from the start. Carla is considered a pioneer of the concept store by introducing to the fashion world the idea of “a space to present a lifestyle covering the general arts, fashion, and gourmet”, when the idea of a “concept store” didn’t exist. Since its opening, concept stores similar to 10 Corso Como has opened one after another around the world, and the store still remains an influential presence in the fashion industry across the world.
